From Barn to Kitchen – A Treat Fairy’s Tale
Nicknamed “the treat fairy” at a few local barns, I’ve always loved whipping up goodies in the kitchen—not just for my own animals, but for our friends’ too. One long winter, I decided to create something a little more exciting (and longer lasting) for our chickens than just tossing seed on the ground.
After some trial and error, the first batch of Cheeky Rollers was born. Natural, healthy, and a huge hit—but they didn’t stay fresh for long. That’s when I discovered freeze-drying. It kept the treats crunchy and preserved—all without additives or preservatives. Turns out, chickens weren’t the only ones lining up. Goats, horses, donkeys, and even a pig or two have joined the fan club.
What started as a cozy winter project has grown into a barnyard favorite—treats made with care, shared with love, and enjoyed by critters of all kinds.

Each Cheeky Roller is made with real ingredients you can feel good about feeding including: bananas, wheat, unsweetened applesauce (apples, water, ascorbic acid (vitamin c)), pumpkin, oats, sunflower hearts, millet, and canola oil.
